JACKSON COUNTY, MI – Brothers Jayvon and Jhabrie Ganaway grew up in the kitchen, where their parents taught them the values of creating unique flavors. They quit their jobs in 2023 to create Slappin Foods, where they craft outside-the-box recipes in a pop-up tent. Being Jackson natives, they wanted to offer the local favorite Coney dogs, but with their own twist – making them spicy, Jayvon said.
