The latest rankings with transfer portal additions from CBS Sports. Coming out of a busy week in the college basketball transfer portal with an array of impactful moves, CBS Sports' has updated its Top 25 and 1 rankings ahead of the 2024 season which reflects many of these roster changes. Alabama's surge under Nate Oats includes four transfers in the last three weeks — Clifford Omoruyi (Rutgers), Aden Holloway (Auburn), Chris Youngblood (South Florida) and Houston Mallette (Pepperdine) — which strengthens the likelihood of another deep run in the NCAA Tournament.

South Carolina defensive lineman Drew Tuazama has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, according to a Tweet from 247Sports Matt Zenitz on Wednesday afternoon. In his one year at South Carolina after transferring from UAB, Tuazama played in five games and tallied one tackle which came against Georgia. The other four games Tuazama played in came against North Carolina, Furman, Mississippi State and Florida.

The Arkansas Razorbacks currently have six new scholarship additions for the Class of 2024, including. transfer Jonas Aidoo and Florida Atlantic transfer Johnell Davis who also declared for the NBA Draft when they entered the portal. Neither were on the list of 78 players invited to the NBA Draft Combine next week.

On Monday, West Virginia picked up a commitment from Dayton (OH) Centerville shooting guard Jonathan Powell, a 2024 prospect that originally signed with Xavier back in November. After requesting a release from his National Letter of Intent, the nation's No. 23 shooting guard made his way to Morgantown for a visit on Sunday.

ESPN's Jonathan Givony reported Wells' late invite could mean the NBA didn't have enough players for the combine scrimmages, needing about 40–44 players. "Makes sense since at least 8 of the 78 Combine invites are still playing, another two are going through Fitness-to-Play panel, and 37 players declined to play 5x5 last year," said Givony.
