A locally owned and operated seafood restaurant has just debuted its latest location, which is also its first in Sarasota County. Anna Maria Oyster Bar is now open in North Port at 14132 Tamiami Trail, the former Family Table space. It is the sixth location for AMOB along with restaurants in University Town Center (which opened last year), Anna Maria Island's Bridge Street Pier, Cortez Road, Ellenton and "Landside" near Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. AMOB was founded in 1995 on the Anna Maria City Pier before expanding to its current locations.
