Footage obtained by TMZ shows the moment cops were waiting for Sean Kingston after his concert to take him into custody.

As we previously shared, Sean Kingston and his mother have been accused of committing over a million dollars in fraud in recent months, involving the theft of money, jewelry, a Cadillac Escalade, and furniture.

Arrest warrants released by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office detail that Kingston, 34, and his 61-year-old mother, Janice Turner, are facing charges of conducting an organized scheme to defraud, grand theft, identity theft, and other related offenses. The two were taken into custody on Thursday following a SWAT team raid on Kingston’s rented mansion in suburban Fort Lauderdale. Turner was arrested during the raid, while Kingston was apprehended at Fort Irwin, an Army training base in California’s Mojave Desert, where he was scheduled to perform.

Kingston, known for his 2007 No. 1 hit “Beautiful Girls” and his collaboration with Justin Bieber on the song “Eenie Meenie,” is currently detained in a California jail as he awaits extradition back to Florida.

When the news first broke, Kingston shared a post to his Instagram story telling his fans that him and his mother are innocent.

“People love negative energy! I am good so is my mother! My lawyers are handling everything as we speak.”

On Friday, Robert Rosenblatt, the attorney representing the Jamaican-American artist and his mother, mentioned that Kingston would willingly return if permitted, thereby saving the state the expenses associated with extradition and travel costs for both detectives and Sean.

His mother was being held Friday at the Broward County jail on $160,000 bond.

“We look forward to addressing these (charges) in court and are confident of a successful resolution for Shawn and his mother,” Rosenblatt said.
