Construction for a new emergency radio system is underway in Jasper County

Sarcoxie , MO – W ork is now underway on a new J asper C ounty-wide public safety radio system. O fficials broke ground yesterday at the Sarcoxie radio tower site on Bridgeview R oad. The project will revitalize four existing tower locations throughout the county and build two new ones. It'll also fund new radio equipment for first responders and their vehicles.

Duquesne, MO – S urveillance video shows a man breaking into G usano's in D uquesne in April . The owner says the burglar got away with some money from a cash box but only after spending quite a while on an empty safe . The Duquesne P olice D epartment is asking anyone with information about the break- in to give them a call.

Pittsburg, KS – T he C ity of Pittsburg cuts the ribbon marking the completion of the Quincy R ouse P roject. The project began back in 20-22 and involved the construction of a three-lane, concrete roadway with five-foot sidewalks and street lighting.
