    1 person hospitalized after being struck by vehicle in Harrison County

    CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — One person was taken to the hospital Monday after being struck by a vehicle near the Country Club area of Harrison County.

    According to an official with the Harrison County 911 Center, at about 8:21 p.m., crews were alerted to a vehicle accident involving a pedestrian near the 100 block of Brighton Circle Road. Crews on scene confirmed that one person was hurt, and that person was taken to United Hospital Center by ground to be treated.

    The cause of the accident and the status of the person who was injured were not specified.

    Crews from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, Harrison County EMS and the West Milford Fire Department responded to this call.
