Woman throws ashtray, striking man on the head after accusing him of talking to other women

WYOMING COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Wyoming County woman is facing charges after she threw an ashtray, striking a man because she thought he was talking to other women.

According to witnesses, Debra McKinney and a man got into an argument after he got home from work. During the argument, the victim stated that Debra McKinney threw an ashtray at him, striking the top of his head. Debra McKinney stated that the argument started because he was talking to other women. She admitted throwing the ashtray but said she did not believe she hit him with it.

Deputies say that McKinney was under the influence.  Methamphetamine and a Loratab were found. McKinney was arrested and charged with domestic battery and possession of a controlled substance.
