    Teen staying in Mariposa missing for over a week

    MARIPOSA County, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – The Mariposa County Sherriff’s Office is asking the public for help in finding a missing 15-year-old who has been missing for over a week.

    The Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office says Amiya Turner, 15, is originally from Washington but was staying with family in Mariposa and was last seen at 8 a.m. on April 30.

    Turner is described as a female juvenile, with a dark complexion who is 5’6 and weighs approximately 180 pounds. She has brown eyes and red hair, according to deputies.
