NYSP offers update on car-motorcycle crash last week in Jefferson County

ADAMS, N.Y. (WWTI) – New York State Police offered an update on a car-motorcycle crash that happened Thursday, May 2 on U.S. Route 11 near Adams Center.

State troopers identified the operators of a car and a motorcycle that crashed on Route 11 and sent two people to the hospital. No tickets or arrests were made.

The operator of the motorcycle was 43-year-old Christian Jorgensen of Adams Center. The passenger of the motorcycle was a minor. Both operator and passenger were airlifted to Upstate University Hospital in serious condition at the time of the accident.

The operator of the vehicle was 19-year-old Elijah Kekuewa also from Adams Center. He was transported to Samaritan Medical Center at the time of the accident. Kekuewa reported no injuries. State Police were assisted at the scene by Adams Center and Adams Fire Departments, South Jefferson Rescue Squad, Town of Watertown Ambulance, and NYS DOT.
