    PA hikers, dog owners warned of treats stuffed with fish hooks found on trail

    PENNSYLVANIA (WTAJ) — Hikers and dog owners are being warned after dog treats stuffed with fish hooks were left on an Appalachian trail.

    The Pennsylvania Game Commission is warning residents that over the weekend, a hiker reported finding dog treats stuffed with fish hooks near the George W. Outerbridge shelter on the Appalachian Trail in Washington Township, Lehigh County—State Game Lands #217.

    The Commission said the treats could be deadly to someone’s dog and any wild or domestic animal.
