Some rain lingers as storms move out of Ohio

(WJW) – A Tornado Watch across Northeast Ohio has expired as storms are moving out of Ohio in the early hours.

A few lingering thunderstorms are possible, but a bulk of the weather is moving out and east. Drier weather through the rest of the night as the severe weather and thunderstorms come to an end.

As of 1:10 a.m., Tornado Watch is still in effect for Carroll County until 4 a.m.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Tuscarawas and Carroll counties until 2 a.m.

Overnight, skies dry and we’re partly to mostly cloudy and warm. Temperatures are in the lower 60s.

We remain unsettled with only a couple days where we’re mostly dry. No day is a complete wash-out, just keep your umbrella with you.

Cooler temps return as we head into Mother’s Day Weekend. We wrap up the week with temps ranging about 5 degrees below average.
