First-degree sex-offender notice

The Price County Sheriff’s Office issued a required status update for a first-degree sex-offender who was recently released from prison and is now residing at N6699 State Highway 111 in the town of Harmony. The offender, John G. Nolan, 87, has gray hair, blue eyes, is 5-feet, 9-inches and 242 pounds.

Nolan was convicted of first-degree sexual assault of a child, second-degree sexual assault of a child, and repeated acts of sexual assault against the same child on March 31, 2004. Nolan was released on April 30, 2024, after serving the maximum period of confinement allowed.

Nolan is under the supervision of local probation agents or the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. He is a lifetime registrant of the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registration Program.

The Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry online provided the means for the public to monitor and track an offender’s whereabouts. The purpose of the registry is to promote public safety and help detect and prevent crime.
