Sunset Ellis Drive-In reveals movies for opening weekend

SHINNSTON, W.Va. (WBOY) — The Sunset Ellis Drive-In in Harrison County is getting ready for opening weekend , which will feature two films that were released earlier this spring.

According to an announcement on Facebook , the drive-in opening weekend on May 17-18 will feature “Kung Fu Panda 4” as the first showing and “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” as the second. The first showing starts at dark and the second will immediately follow.

Although the first movie showing is Friday, May 17, the season grand opening “Family Day” is scheduled for May 18. In addition to movies, that event will have “full access to unlimited bounce houses,” vendors, a DJ, face painting and other entertainment.

The price for the grand opening on Saturday will be $15 for adults and $10 for kids (ages 4-17), and general admission tickets for the rest of the season are $10 for adults and $5 for kids.
