Richland Parish authorities arrest 25 suspects in parish-wide narcotic round-up

RICHLAND PARISH (KTVE/KARD) — On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, the Richland Parish Sheriff’s Office announced that the Sheriff’s Office along with Rayville Police, Delhi Police, Magham Police, Louisiana Probation and Parole, and members of the DEA task force conducted a narcotics round-up throughout Richland Parish. According to authorities, approximately 75 drug warrants were issued, ranging from the distribution of methamphetamines, the distribution of crack cocaine, the distribution of fentanyl, and various prescription medications.

The Richland Parish Sheriff’s Office conducted two search warrants and reportedly seized several firearms. According to authorities, 25 suspects were arrested with the remaining suspects to be arrested within the next few days.

Bonds for the suspects are ranging from $5,000 to $240,000. The identities of the arrestees have not been released at this time.
