HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) says Big Rivers Electric will be conducting an early morning rolling roadblock on May 12 at the 133 mile marker along I-69 in Webster County.

Officials say work and roadblocks are expected to begin around 8 a.m. This temporary measure is necessary to allow crews to pull conductors across the entire width of the interstate. Law enforcement will be on hand offer traffic control assistance.

According to KYTC, during the rolling roadblock, Big Rivers doesn’t plan to stop traffic completely, but motorists should still expect brief delays. Traffic will likely be slowed down enough to allow for a section of the interstate to be temporarily cleared long enough for work to be carried out.

Officials say motorists should anticipate delays and exercise caution while navigating through the affected zone.
