FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — In April, wave two of the Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD)’s “Road Shark” campaign led to over 6,500 citations and warnings.

FCPD started the Road Shark campaign in 2023 to reduce aggressive driving and crashes and change overall driving behavior.

Police issued nearly 25,000 citations across four waves of the program last year.
