    Ashe County arrest reports

    The following information was provided by the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

    April 22

    Jamie D. Greene, 40, of Todd, was charged with felony serious injury by vehicle. Greene was released on April 22 under a $5,000 secured bond.

    David A. Miller, 75, of Lansing, was charged with violation of a court order. Miller was released on April 22.

    Ashlee C. Stike, 38, of West Jefferson, was charged with nine counts of obtaining property by false pretense. Stike was released on April 22 under a $25,000 secured bond.

    April 23

    David M. Bennett, 33, of Lansing, was charged with parole violation and not paying child support. Bennett is currently being held at the Ashe County Detention Center under a $200 cash bond.

    Donnie D. Ellison, 47, of West Jefferson, was charged with probation violation. Ellison was released on April 23 under a $10,000 secured bond.

    William P. Maxwell, 54, of West Jefferson, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Maxwell was released on April 23.

    James F. Oliver, 32, of Crumpler, was charged with assault on a female. Oliver was released on April 23.

    Margaret M. Wyatt, 50, of Lansing, was charged with obstructing justice. Wyatt was released on April 23 under a $25,000 unsecured bond.

    April 24

    Justin L. Cox, 29, of Lansing, was charged with two counts of simple possession of a Schedule II controlled substance. Cox was released on April 25 under a $2,500 secured bond.

    Brandon P. Grant, 42, of Millers Creek, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to heed light and siren. Grant was released on April 27 under a $5,000 secured bond.

    Ethen W. Jones, 20, of Creston, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Jones was released on April 25 under a $1,000 secured bond.

    April 25

    Chase E. Chatham, 38, of West Jefferson, was charged with two counts of probation violation and defrauding drug/alcohol screen tests. Chatham was released on April 27 under a $12,000 secured bond.

    Sarah A. Pride, 44, of Creston, was charged with failure to appear on a charge of misdemeanor domestic violence. Pride was released on April 26 under a $203 cash bond.

    Rachel M. Roark, 43, of Todd, was charged with simple possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of a Schedule III controlled substance, felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, simple possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance and failure to appear on charges of possession with the intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, simple possession of a Schedule III controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance on prison/jail premises. Roark is currently being held at the Ashe County Detention Center under a $190,000 secured bond.

    Allen W. Shepherd, 47, of Crumpler, was charged with selling a Schedule II controlled substance, delivering a Schedule II controlled substance, possession with the intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substances. Shepherd was released on April 26 under a $25,000 secured bond.

    David E. Waln, 70, of Fleetwood, was charged with second-degree trespassing. Waln is currently being held at the Ashe County Detention Center under a $5,000 secured bond.

    April 26

    Wendy F. Jaynes, 43, of Warrensville, was charged with not paying child support. Jaynes is currently being held at the Ashe County Detention Center under a $500 cash bond.

    April 27

    Sarah E. Caldera, 25, of Crumpler, was charged with fleeing/eluding arrest with a motor vehicle, felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, felony possession of marijuana, failure to heed light and siren, speeding, driving with a revoked license, simple possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Caldera is currently being held at the Ashe County Detention Center under a $40,000 secured bond.

    Blake A. Hurley, 22, of Jefferson, was charged with driving while impaired. Hurley was released on April 27.

    Robert N. Morrison, 43, of Todd, was charged with driving while impaired, simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Morrison is currently being held at the Ashe County Detention Center under a $500 secured bond.

    Jack L. Reedy, 57, of Lansing, was charged with assault on a female. Reedy was released on April 27.

    Derrick S. Whisnant, 30, of North Wilkesboro, was charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, felony possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Whisnant is currently being held at the Ashe County Detention Center under a $30,000 secured bond.
