Road Closures Announced Ahead of 2024 Broad Street Run

The 2024 Broad Street Run is happening this Sunday, May 5, and if you are running or just planning to cheer on the runners, here are the road closures and additional information you should know about getting to the race:

Road Closures on Broad Street will begin on Sunday, May 4 at 2 a.m

• No parking will be permitted on Broad Street from Olney Avenue to the Navy Yard from 2 a.m. until 12 p.m.
• Broad Street from Olney Avenue to Windrim Avenue will close to traffic at 4 a.m.,
• Broad Street from Windrim Avenue to Erie Avenue will close at 7 a.m.
• The remainder of Broad Street will close to traffic at 7:45 a.m.

The following off-ramps on I-76 will be closed on Sunday, May 5, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. :

• Westbound I-76, Exit #349 (PA-611 – Broad Street / Sports Complex) to 1300 Pollock Street
• Eastbound I-76, Exit #349 (PA-611 – Broad Street / Sports Complex) to 1400 Curtin Street

The following off-ramps on I-95 will be closed on Sunday, May 5, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• Northbound / Southbound I-95 (Exit #17)

Roads are expected to be reopened after the conclusion of the run by Noon.

Before Sunday, “No Parking” signs will be posted at the starting area, along the race course, and in the center median of Broad Street. “No Parking” regulations will be strictly enforced. All vehicles parked on the race route will be relocated, beginning on Saturday evening, May 4.

Parking :

Parking will not be available at the start area of the race. Participants are encouraged to park their cars for FREE at the Sports Complex and then take the SEPTA Broad Street Line to the start area.

All vehicles must be removed from the Sports Complex after the conclusion of the race by 1 p.m. so Citizens Bank Park can prepare for their Phillies Gameday Operations.

Race day bib pick-up:

All runners must visit the IBX Broad Street Run Health and Wellness Expo inside the Pennsylvania Convention Center before race day to pick up their bib, IPICO timing device, t-shirt, and race guide.

• Friday, May 3, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
