Carroll County party shooter arrested

The suspect in the Carroll County shooting that took place last Sunday night has been arrested by Maryland State Police. His name is Jose Manchame, and he is 41 years old. Manchame has been charged with first-degree assault. The identity of the man he shot remains unknown. Maryland State Police are still investigating.

A man was shot at a party in the 4900 block of Hanover Pike in Carroll County after 6pm on Sunday night.

He was later dropped off at the Carroll County Sheriff's office by an unidentified person.

The man was later airlifted by a Maryland State Police Helicopter to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.

State Police, along with MD Transportation State Highway Administration, closed Route 30 for several hours to investigate.

Maryland State Police are still investigating the shooting at this time.
