PennDOT: Route 322 bridge to close for emergency repairs

CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that there will be a one-day closure of a Route 322 bridge spanning Route 45 in Harris Township, Centre County.

The closure, on Thursday, April 25, will impact eastbound traffic only and will allow county maintenance forces to complete emergency deck repairs that will improve safety and ride quality for drivers.

During the closure, eastbound traffic heading away from State College will exit Route 322 at the Old Fort interchange and follow a detour using Route 45 and Boal Avenue to reconnect with Route 322.

PennDOT Centre County Maintenance forces will complete this work between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. All work is weather-dependent.
