DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A South Carolina man is facing charges after allegedly stealing someone’s vehicle and threatening to “take care” of anybody who gave him a problem, the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office said.

Andrew Maxwell Deese of Lancaster was charged with armed robbery and grand larceny of more than $2,000 but less than $10,000.

The incident happened on March 10 on Family Road in the McBee area, arrest warrants show. Deese is accused of telling another person that he had a 380 in his pocket and that he would “take care of anybody that gave him a problem” before stealing the victim’s Honda Accord.

Deese was booked into the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center at about 8:10 a.m. Thursday, jail records show. As of this writing, he was still in jail on a $50,000 bond.
