Man arrested after running through yards partially clothed

LOGAN COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man faces charges after running through yards partially clothed.

According to Logan County Deputies, on Sunday, April 14, 2024, bystanders advised that Casey Farmer of Chapmanville was partially clothed and running through yards. When deputies made contact with Farmer, he was in a building partially clothed and shouting profanities while swinging his arms in the air.

Deputies say due to Farmer’s erratic behavior, he had to be taken to the ground. During a pat down search, 50 yellow Xanaz pills were found, along with a pink powdery substance that ended up testing positive for Fentanyl.

Due to his behavior, deputies were unable to get his fingerprints. The Farmer had an active warrant from Mingo County for possessing a controlled substance.

Farmer was charged with a warrant, obstructing, public intoxication, refusal to fingerprint, and two charges for possession of controlled substance. He is in SWRJ under a 4,500 dollar bond.
