ATLANTA, GA — The Carrollton Center for the Arts is an outlet for creativity. You can find exhibitions, theater performances, and even classes, workshops, and camps.

This summer, the center invites you to watch an in-theater performance and experience the performances in real life.

Here are 4 of the in-theater performances:

    1. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

The Carrollton’s young actors will perform this musical directed by Jenny Lyle that tells the story of Aslan, the great lion, and his struggle with the White Witch and four children who wander from an old wardrobe into the land of Narnia.

    Date and time: June 19, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m

    Buy tickets from: https://cprcad.myboxoffice.us/.

    2. Rumpelstiltskin Is My Name

This Grimm’s musical fairytale, directed and written by Tammy Barton, will also be performed by Carrollton’s young actors. The story will follow a widowed mother who convinced the king that her daughter, Laura, can weave straw into gold. Rumpelstiltskin is the one who can make that true, but with an enormous price: Laura must guess his name.

    Date and time: July 10, 7 p.m.

    3. The Blabbermouth, the Puff Monster and the Wolf (Camp Performance)

The performance will bring three folk tales on the stage in a funny ensemble comedy, The Blabbermouth, The Puff Monster, and Sirko and the Wolf.

    Date and time: July 24, 7 p.m.

    Buy tickets from: https://cprcad.myboxoffice.us/.

    4. Carrollton Teen Theatre: Little Shop of Horrors

The Teen Theater will present The Little Shop of Horrors, a musical that follows floral assistant Seymour Krelborn, who discovered a foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivorous plant named Audrey II.

    Date and time: August 5-7, 7 p.m. and August 8, 2 p.m.
