A lot of things have changed since the pandemic has happened, some businesses now want people to make appointments to get certain services done.

Those services may include opening a bank account, going to the secretary of state, or even purchasing a car.

This has put a damper on the people that are trying to schedule their appointments because there are only so many appointments that businesses can take in a day.

In an article from Fox 2 News called "Michigan Secretary of State adding 350,000 more appointments, greeters to some branches" by Jack Nissen he elaborates on the changes that are being made according to the secretary of state.

Jack Nissen stated "In addition to the new round of appointments, some of the state's busiest offices will now have a greeter that will meet people in line and help them get an appointment if one is available. If one isn't, they'll schedule a time for an individual when it becomes available.

Half of the newly available appointments are already online and open to be filled. The other half will be added incrementally as next-day appointments. Benson said they made a 25% increase in availability by shrinking 20-minute appointment slots down to 10 minutes."

It is probably a relief for people to know that the secretary of state is increasing the number of employees and appointments, this will allow people to get their services renewed.

In due to the appointment system will become better and more beneficial in Michigan.
