According to the woman, Thomas had recently moved out of the residence after retrieving his belongings. She informed deputies that, during the incident, a piece of shattered glass cut her chin and also stated that her friend the event from her father’s nearby residence.

When questioned by law enforcement, the witness confirmed that he saw Thomas smash both the right-side and back windows of the vehicle.

Deputies searched the area around Hill Lake Road, where the woman believed Thomas might have gone after the incident, but they were unable to locate him or his blue, older-model Ford F-150.

On August 29, Thomas was apprehended and charged with one count of criminal damage to property in the second degree and is still in custody.
