Here's where you can enjoy empanadas, Philly cheesteak, vegan hibachi and more

(ATLANTA, Ga.) Atlanta is constantly expanding its food scene and providing diverse dining options no matter where you are in the city.

In recent news, another food hall is in progress and bringing fun and healthy eats for residents and visitors in the West Midtown area.

The food hall, Chattahoochee Food Works, will be located at The Works retail space on the Upper Westside and is held a soft opening on Thursday.

In the beginning phase, restaurants like TydeTate Kitchen, Sakura Ramen Bar, Morelli’s Ice Cream, Belen de la Cruz and Cubanos ATL were a few of the establishments announced.

Recently, more tenants have been announced and customers can enjoy empanadas, vegan hibachi and classic Philly cheesteak. In addition to entrees and small bites, desserts and pastries will also be available.

Monster Cravings will serve homemade cookies with fun flavors like PB&J, Strawberry Shortcake and Cookies & Cream.

Stop by the Belen de la Cruz - Empanadas & Pastries shop to enjoy traditional empanadas and homemade desserts prepared by Argentinean native Belen de la Cruz and her two brothers.

Enjoy a taste of Cuba in the heart of the city with Cuban sandwiches, Cuban-style coffee and flan at Cubanos ATL. The restaurant also has a location in Sandy Springs and will be opening two additional spaces in Roswell and Cumming.

Vegan hibachi, anyone? Owner Joshua Brock of Hippie Hibachi prides himself on creating the first vegan hibachi establishment in the city. Guests can enjoy a choice of protein including plant-based teriyaki chicken, shrimp and beef, paired with vegetables, fried rice and Hippie Hibachi’s house-made vegan Yum Yum sauce.

Lastly, classic Philly cheesteak will be available at Philly G Steaks, owned by Gordon Brown. The menu will feature a range of cheesteak, ribeye sandwich and quesadillas and tacos.

Chattahoochee Food Works will host a total of 31 food establishments as well as an indoor and outdoor bar.

Hours for the food hall will be Monday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. with bar hours Monday through Friday from noon to 10 p.m. and weekends from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
