The New York Knicks have an opportunity to close out their first-round playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers with a win in Game 5 this Tuesday night.

Through a quarter and a half of play from Madison Square Garden, the Knicks are out to a hot start as they attempt to accomplish that feat. New York leads Philadelphia 35-28 with six minutes remaining in the second quarter.

It's been a back-and-forth battle in the first half - but the action on the floor isn't the only thing NBA fans are talking about in Game 5. Particularly, fans can't help but notice that the Knicks changed up their court design for the potential elimination game.

It's safe to say the NBA world does not approve.

"cursed court design and jersey combination. my god in heaven," popular NBA account Rob Perez posted.

"6 minutes into the game and the Knicks haven't made a single field goal attempt yet because you need 3D glasses to see anything on that court."

'WorldWideWob' wasn't the only NBA fan to point out - and snark at - the changes made to the court at MSG for Game 5.

"Its so nice having the New York Knicks be good for the NBA Playoffs... But stop messing with the court... the Knicks should be required to have the classic logo and go back to the orange paint only," one fan said.

"This is facts. I would be pretty surprised to find a New York Knicks fan who thinks today's court is better," another fan added.

"This MSG court with two different shade of blue on each side is gross. Knicks have such a classic look and this is a mess," Chris wrote.

It seems the updated court design isn't slowing down the Knicks so far.

New York continues to lead with a few minutes remaining in the first half.
