East takes down New Ulm
MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - Mankato East took on New Ulm Thursday night for a high school baseball game. East defeated New Ulm in five innings 17-3. East improves to 8-2 on the season and plays next on Saturday, April 27th against Rochester John Marshall in Rochester.
Highway 4 construction is underway
MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - As April winds to an end, construction season is beginning anew, with projects starting up across Minnesota. One of the larger projects is actually two: Highway 4 from Sherburn to St. James and St. James to Sleepy Eye are technically two separate projects that together span nearly 50 miles of Highway 4.
Six arrested in southern Minnesota after the execution of search warrant
MANKATO, MN.--Six Individuals are in custody following execution of a search warrant and seizure of nearly 6,000 counterfeit pills containing fentanyl. On Saturday, the Mankato Department of Public Safety and Agents of the Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force executed a search warrant in Mankato, resulting in the apprehension of six individuals.

National Prescription Takeback Day is Saturday
MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - The city of Mankato wants to remind residents that tomorrow is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. According to city staff, the Public Safety Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday for anyone to come by and dispose of unneeded prescriptions or over-the-counter medications.
