Pasco County Bids Farewell to Veteran K-9s Brasko and Dobies
The Pasco Sheriff’s Office has announced the retirement of two K-9s, Brasko and Dobies. K-9 Brasko, a German Shepherd, has served Pasco County since May 2015. He was trained in patrol work and narcotics detection, contributing to the safety of the community. Brasko, born in Germany in 2015, has twice won a narcotics detection competition. In retirement, he will live with his partner, Dep. Adam Tellier, and his current K-9 partner, Flash.

LEESBURG, Fla. — Aaron Yavorsky only needs one more day of solid fishing to write his name in the B.A.S.S. record books. Yavorksy, a 17-year-old high school senior from Palm Harbor, Fla, caught five bass weighing a whopping 30 pounds, 7 ounces Friday on Day 1 of the 2023 Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Team Championship Classic Fish-Off. It was a phenomenal haul that gave him nearly a 16-pound lead on the closest of the five other anglers in the field.
