Small Indiana plane had hard landing at Chesaning airport
CHESANING, MI — An out-of-state plane had a hard landing at a Chesaning airport over the weekend. At 2:13 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, police and firefighters responded to a call of a small plane crash at the Howard Nixon Memorial Airport, 205 S. Fourth St. They arrived to find a 2022 single-engine Cirrus SR22 had run off the western end of the runway while trying to land, said Chesaning-Brady Fire Chief Scott Fall.

(CBS DETROIT) - The Genesee County Prosecutor's Office provided updates after a 2-year-old boy in Flint died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Wednesday. GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WJRT) - A Flint woman was sentenced to 51 months in federal prison for a multimillion-dollar fraud scheme that targeted senior citizens. The Department of Justice says that 28-year-old McKhaela Katelynn McNamara from Flint was sentenced to 51 months in federal prison, three years of probation and pay $693.073 in restitution to the victims.
