SAGINAW, Mich. (WNEM) - After some early morning rain showers, or at the very least cloudy skies, things have cleared up beautifully this afternoon and evening!. Temperatures have taken a 10 to 20 degree jump this afternoon and many have managed to climb back into the 70s for high temperatures. The only hiccup? Some gusty winds that have been around at times today with gusts near 30 miles per hour. If that’s all we’ve had to worry about however, it’s been a good day!
Police identify man killed inside Saginaw market
SAGINAW, Mich. (WNEM) - The Saginaw Police Department has identified the man found dead inside the K and D Market on the city’s east side. Officers responded to the market, located at 2716 S. Jefferson, shortly after 1 a.m. on Monday, April 29 for reports of smoke coming from the building.
Suspect in Vassar homicide not guilty by reason of insanity
CARO, MI — Last spring, a man was found shot to death inside a family cottage in Vassar Township. Nearby lay the carcass of his cat, also dead from gunfire. Police quickly arrested a suspect in the killing, who recently was found not to be criminally responsible for the homicide due to his psychological state.
