    NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — What better way to celebrate Cinco De Mayo than surrounded by friends, family, a table of the finest Mexican cuisine, margaritas and of course, music?

    These Connecticut restaurants will be offering special Cinco De Mayo deals and events this Sunday.

    New Haven County

    Te Amo Tequila Bar – New Haven

    This Mexican restaurant is planning its “biggest #SundayFunday ever” on Sunday. There will be a live DJ and deals on margaritas, tacos and more from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. But hurry… Te Amo will be first come first serve, no reservations. For more information, check out their post .

    Camacho Garage – New Haven

    This New Haven classic is taking Cinco De Mayo celebrations to the next level. The restaurant will hold various events including face paintings, tattoos, a live donkey, a live mariachi band and a patrol margarita bike.     80 Proof American Kitchen & Bar – New Haven

    Get ready for a five-day Cinco de Mayo celebration! This Connecticut chain is offering signature drinks of each day leading up to the Mexican holiday.     Agave Grill – Hartford

    Agave is opening its doors at 11 a.m. on Sunday with two DJ’s and plenty of drink specials to go around.     Coyote Blue Tex and Mex Cafe – Middletown

    A weekend-long celebration is in store for customers at Coyote Blue. The celebrations will begin on Friday, May 3 and continue until 9 p.m. on Sunday, May 5.
