New Haven gang member pleads guilty to role in killings

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A member of New Haven’s Exit 8 gang pleaded guilty on Thursday to charges connected to two deadly shootings.

Antwan “Bandz” Hill, 21, pleaded guilty to a racketeering offense.

He was arrested as part of a sting into the Exit 8 gang, which also goes by the name “Honcho.”

Hill, along with other gang members, have dealt drugs, killed three people and attempted to kill others 16 times, according to officials. They also stole vehicles that were then used in crimes.

Hill admitted to taking part in four shootings, which killed two people in 2020, 2021 and 2022.

When sentenced, he faces up to 20 years in prison.
