, , , Wimberley Village Youth Summer Reading Program kicked off last week with a Mad Hatter Pirate show, a petting zoo, snow cones, face painting, hot dogs, and booths staffed by Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists. Seguin City Offices and Public Library to Close in Observance of Juneteenth Holiday
Residents in the city of Seguin should take note that city offices, along with the Seguin Public Library, will be taking a day off in honor of a historical turning point—Juneteenth. According to an announcement on the City of Seguin's official website, these non-emergency facilities won't be available on Wednesday, June 19, as the city observes the holiday which commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. Regular operations are slated to resume come Thursday, June 20.
