Two people were arrested by Brenham Polce in separate incidences last Thursday. They report that Thursday morning at 11:45, Officer Lauren Vieceli conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Ewing Street and West Blue Bell Road. A suspected THC vape pen was found inside the vehicle during a probable cause search. The driver, Sterling Thompson III, 30 of Hempstead, was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

This week in Comal County, Texas, two individuals from Canyon Lake were arrested in a major narcotics bust. The suspects were found in possession of various drugs, including fentanyl, methamphetamine, heroin, marijuana, and Gabapentin. Additionally, the City of New Braunfels Fire Marshal's Office is seeking the public's help in investigating a suspicious house fire that occurred on Tuesday. They are specifically requesting any exterior building footage from homes on Fren Ave., Perryman St., and Merriweather St. A person of interest with dirty-blonde hair and wearing jeans and a shirt is being sought in connection with the fire.

As of 9:00 p.m. on Nov. 27, San Marcos SWAT team is responding to a suspect barricade at an apartment complex on El Rio Street. At around 4:30 p.m., San Marcos Police Department (SMPD) received alert an individual had been shot. The individual is now at a nearby hospital and is expected to survive.
