Morning fog to summerish weekend & possible storms
Areas of locally dense fog developed early this morning. Watch out for visibility of less than a quarter of a mile. The fog will mix out during the day. A few isolated showers could develop late in the day across the Western U.P. Otherwise, it will be a dry and breezy day. This weekend will be warmer with near 80° in some areas tomorrow. A cold front will pass through tomorrow night. A few showers pop up due to daytime heating in the afternoon. However, we’re expecting thundershowers ahead of that front tomorrow afternoon through the evening. It starts in the Western U.P. and slowly moves into the central counties by Saturday night. The pattern becomes more active next week. A system will bring soaking rain and thundershowers Monday through Tuesday.
