Lebanon City officials are considering a $19.7 million preliminary budget for 2027 that will include a nearly 22% tax increase, the first for residents in more than a decade. Officials are recommending a one mill tax increase, raising the city's millage rate to 5.581 mills. This proposed rate would raise the current total real estate tax revenue to $4.6 million, representing an $818,845 increase in revenue for the city. The owner of a property with an average assessed value of $104,350 would pay the city $582, which is a $103 increase
