West Virginia day care will permanently close

A West Virginia day care says it will permanently close.

Plays Child Care Center in Moundsville, WV says it will permanently close due to staffing issues.

The last day is scheduled to be Friday May 17 at the close of business.

The day care said staffing issues has been an issue for a while and helped the owner decide to retire.

“Being under staffed for a while has put great strain on all of us. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause our families. It has been a true adventure and so many people have supported us and guided us through the entire 5 years,” Plays Child Care Center said.

Plays Child Care Center added, ” There have been rumors abound about this reason or that reason but if you are a small business owner you understand how we are taxed to death and have to have insurance for this and that along with everything else. I really don’t know (how) half of you survive.”

Plays Child Care Center is located at 600 Jefferson Ave in Moundsville, WV.
