SEMO University Police Officer Arrested
A former police officer at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau had to give up his badge after being arrested back in 2022 for three felonies. 37-year-old John Reyna worked for SEMO campus police for more than four years until he was arrested for child molestation in Perry County. When Reyna gave up his badge, the stipulation was that Reyna can never again serve as a police officer in Missouri again. Reyna is being held in the Perry County jail in Perryville. He has a preliminary hearing set for March 10th.
