FoodEEs Ep. 19: The City Fish
In the FoodEEs series, El Estoque staff members take on different food establishments, reviewing the menu items based on taste, price and authenticity. Located just over a mile from MVHS, The City Fish’s nautical-themed storefront hooks passersby on Stevens Creek Boulevard and is open from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily, with happy hour running from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. The interior immerses diners into the experience, featuring cyan walls and aquatic decorations, including a ship’s wheel and lifelike fish sculptures. The restaurant specializes in soups, salads, pastas, chicken and locally sourced seafood, also offering daily specials. While the store has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, The City Fish is still crowded during dinner, which may slow service.
