The restaurant made the announcement on Facebook on Friday, June 2. Its last day was Sunday June 4. Patrons were saddened by the closure. "This restaurant is part of what made The Ironbound popular," said one Facebook commenter. "It's so sad that the Portuguese community has slowly disappeared from the area.
