Defiance woman arrested on four charges from Van Wert County, including attempted murder
Defiance police arrested a city woman this week wanted for attempted murder and other charges in Van Wert County. Summer Raye Jones, 34, 1124 Ayersville Ave., was arrested around 1 a.m. Thursday on multiple warrants form that county for charges of attempted murder, felonious assault, aggravated assault and domestic violence. She was transported to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio. Jones had appeared in Van Wert County Municipal Court on the felonious assault charge in early April when she was released on bond with electronic house arrest. Her case there had been bound over to Van Wert County Common Pleas Court. Further information was unavailable Friday.
