2 Baltimore High School Students Secure Historic Win At National Debate Tournament
Nevaeh Rita Sencion and Saidah Ervin emerged triumphant by a single vote over the country's top-ranked high school policy debate team. BCPS teacher earns prestigious VEX Robotics award
TOWSON, MD—A Baltimore County Public Schools teacher has earned a prestigious award from VEX Robotics. Christopher Putnam, a technology education teacher at Hereford Middle School, has been named an Inspiration All-Star at the 2024 VEX Robotics World Championships. The award is given to only six outstanding teachers, mentors, and volunteers who have made a significant contribution to advancing student involvement in robotics.
