ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)—The famous Dr Pepper sign in Downtown Roanoke has added a tropical twist in front, celebrating the recent launch of a new flavor. Dr Pepper released a Creamy Coconut flavor in connection with the hot summer days coming as the summer season approaches. As a seasonal beverage, it was released on May 1 to retailers nationwide and will only be available until the end of July.

Redesign and rebranding project set to begin at Historic Roanoke City Market building
ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)– Big changes are coming to the historic Roanoke City Market Building. During a news conference on Thursday, organizers celebrated that the market is once again operating with 100% occupancy for the first time in five years after the recent economic challenges the building has faced, including the COVID-19 Pandemic. The latest new dining tenant, Chico’s Subs, took over the last remaining open tenant space in the facility, turning over a new leaf for the historic building.
