Man faces first-degree murder charges for June shooting death in Roanoke
ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - A man is facing first-degree murder charges for a June shooting death in Roanoke, according to Roanoke City Circuit Court. Kyriq Seabrooks was indicted on charges of first-degree murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a violent felon.

The Bedford Community Health Foundation has completed their Spring 2024 grant cycle, with $121,341 in grants. Funds were awarded to 21 non-profits who provide health care or health-related services to Bedford residents. Since its inception, BCHF has awarded over 7.3 million dollars in grants and scholarships to benefit those living in the Bedford area.
