Leonore Restaurant in downtown Roanoke closing, moving to Salem
ROANOKE, Va. – A popular downtown Roanoke restaurant known for its Italian dishes and Venezuelan meals will soon be closing its doors and moving to a new location. Roanoke police provides the public with road closures ahead of the race this weekend
ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) — The Roanoke Police Department is providing the public with road closures ahead of the race this weekend. Police said the Blue Ridge Marathon is this Saturday, April 20. Ahead of the race, they want to remind the public that a lot of the streets will be closed to accommodate the course. Signs will be posted to indicate road closures and no parking zones. Those signs will be put up on Friday, April 19.

Driver sought after running from wreck that closed Roanoke street
ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - Roanoke Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle who crashed Tuesday morning and then ran. The driver is still being sought. The crash took place on Franklin Road SW about 3:15 a.m. in the 3100 block. The driver of a midsize SUV hit at least three utility poles, according to police.
