    Resident pulled from Moncks Corner mobile home fire

    MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCBD) – A resident was pulled from a Monday night mobile home fire in Moncks Corner, fire officials said.

    Crews with Moncks Corner Rural Fire Department were called to a structure fire shortly before 11:00 p.m. and found that a mobile home was burning.

    A victim was found and recovered alive, according to the department. That person was taken immediately to a local hospital by Berkeley County EMS. Their current condition is unknown.

    Crews brought the fire under control and conducted overhaul operations through the late night. Units cleared the scene shortly after 1:00 a.m.

    Multiple agencies assisted with the fire, including the Town of Moncks Corner Fire, Central Berkeley Fire and EMS, and Pine Ridge Fire Rescue.
