Found 11-year-old released to authorities, investigation continues
BULLHEAD CITY — An 11-year-old girl who went missing Thursday and was found on Sunday was given a full medical clearance and released to authorities, officials said. Alexandria Bella Querta was the subject of an extensive search operation after she reportedly disappeared into the desert about 5:30 p.m., Thursday, May 16, after a disagreement with her mother.
Trial begins for Bullhead City teen charged with armed robbery
KINGMAN — The armed robbery trial for a Bullhead City teenager began Tuesday with jury selection. Andres Ruiz-Solis, 18, is charged with two counts of armed robbery, two counts of aggravated robbery and two counts of aggravated assault, which allegedly occurred May 12, 2023 in the area of Balboa Drive in Bullhead City.
Four people charged with burglary of multiple victims, squatting in Fort Mohave
KINGMAN — Four suspects were indicted Thursday on numerous charges including illegally squatting on a Fort Mohave man’s home. A grand jury indicted Kevin Andrew Strawbridge, 38, of Mohave Valley for conspiracy to commit fraud, burglary, five counts of forgery, four counts of vehicle theft and two counts of trafficking in stolen property.
Sunday morning crash shuts down Miracle Mile
BULLHEAD CITY — A Sunday morning two vehicle collision closed northbound Miracle Mile for about 20 minutes. Fire Department medical crews triaged five patients, said Bullhead City Fire Btn. Chief Tom Queen. No injuries were reported.
Hiker taken to hospital after rescue from Oatman mountainside
OATMAN — A hiker was rescued Monday after spending the night on the side of a mountain. Department of Public Safety Phoenix Ranger III completed a hoist rescue about 3:30 p.m., lifting the man from a mountainside near milepost 21.5 on Route 66 off Boundary Cone.
