Person taken to hospital after being hit with baseball bat: Mobile Police

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A person was taken to the hospital late Monday night after they were hit with a baseball bat, according to a news release from the Mobile Police Department.

The release said officers were called to the 400 block of Crenshaw Street for a report of an assault.

LOCATION:

When officers arrived they found a person who was bleeding from an injury, according to the release. After further investigations officers found that a fight had escalated when a suspect hit the person with the bat, said officials.

Mobile Police said this is an ongoing investigation.
