The Minnesota Vikings have built their roster with multiple strategies over the years. That comes with having multiple general managers, but the overall athleticism is a good baseline for what kind of potential it has.

The developer of Relative Athletic Score, Kent Lee Platte, used his system to rank each team in the National Football League and the Vikings were relatively average, ranking 18th overall in the NFL.

That feels about right for the Vikings, especially since each of the last few drafts have been different. Even under general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, the approach has changed. He seemed to focus exclusively on high-upside athletes with public-facing data in 2022 but that has been modified over the last two drafts. Is he not buying into traditional athleticism criteria and using things like GPS tracking data to make his decisions? Whatever he's using as his approach, it seems to be working better than 2022.
